Advantech’s PCIE-2531 is a low-profile quad port 15GbE Ethernet PCI Express server adapter based on Intel E810-CAM1 Ethernet Controller. By supporting a PCI Express gen. 4 x16 host interface, this adapter provides sufficient bandwidth for line rate traffic on four 25GbE ports. Quad SFP28 ports can be configured to support a variety of optical transceivers, such as 25GBASE-SR and 25GBASE-LR optical midules, as well as directly attach cables. Improved support for virtualization, including VMDq and SR-IOV, makes the PCIE-2531 a perfect fit for virtualized environments and applications with network overlays. Packet filtering, load balancing, and protocol offload capabilities further enhance efficiency by saving valuable processing time on the host.
