The STE-604C-T is a Modbus gateway that is a bi-directional device for connecting new and existing Modbus/RTU or ASCII serial devices to newer Modbus/TCP devices. The STE-604C-T features two independent Ethernet ports with separate MAC addresses providing the ability for redundancy and reliability through multiple data paths. Master or slave mode can be selected on the serial port, allowing an Ethernet master to control serial slaves or allow serial masters to control Ethernet slaves. The STE-604C-T meets tough industrial standards to provide a cost-effective way of integrating Modbus TCP and Modbus ASCII/RTU devices to communicate with each other. This model has an extended operating temperature range -40 to 70C.
